pan-African, women-led and disability-led regional network established in 2002. We are committed to confronting and transforming the deeply rooted and intersectional discrimination faced by women and girls with disabilities across the continent.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"689\">From grassroots mobilization to international advocacy, DIWA brings together national and regional organizations from <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"604\">Central, East, West, North, and Southern Africa<\/strong>\u2014amplifying one powerful collective voice for inclusion, rights, and gender equality.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"888\">Originally a subcommittee under the Pan African Federation of the Disabled (PAFOD), DIWA gained full independence and was formally registered in Malawi in 2012
